Electrical renovation of pressing line to Volvo
Volvo chooses to invest in a new control system to streamline its production line for pressing sheet metal. The project includes the reconstruction and complete refurbishment of the entire press line. In addition, a completely new safety solution was installed as well as a new main engine with servo operation. An extensive mechanical rebuild has also been carried out. This also includes a new hydraulic system and noise reduction around the facility. Great importance has been placed on operator communication. The images in the panels have been built with the aim of mimicking existing panels and in consultation with operator staff and operating technicians.
