How Waterjet Cutting Works:
Waterjet cutting technology involves ultrahigh pressurizing (2000 to 6000 bar) of filtered tap water, which is then passed through a small diameter orifice of 0,15 to 0,25 mm.
Traveling at high speeds of up to 900 m/sec, with sufficient kinetic energy to cut an astonishing array of materials, waterjets are unmatched in versatility. As a cold cutting process, waterjet technology does not alter the properties of the material being cut, unlike laser or flame cutting, and it operates without producing noxious gases, liquids, or hazardous by-products.
Pure waterjet cutting uses high-pressure water only. For cutting hard materials like metals, composites, glass, and stone, an abrasive is added to the waterjet stream.

In the package, there is a assembled Cutting Box with mounted robots, a high pressure pump, and a pallet with peripheral equipment. Everything is pre-assembled to ensure straightforward setup on-site at the customer’s location.
