Picking and packaging coffee bags to Löfbergs
Löfbergs needed to handle several different coffee bags into cardboard boxes. The solution was a cell that handles both the index conveyor and the robot that packs the products and seals after packing.
The project commitment consisted of:
- Robot, ABB IRB 2600
- Siemens PLC with HMI
- Trough erector with adhesive sealing
- Index track with servo
- Track system for finished cartons to robot system
- Fences, light barriers and emergency stops
- Labeling and scanning of products
