Palletizing of carton boxes in cold environment to Guldfågeln
Guldfågeln automated the entire palletizing system from erecting carton boxes to packing on pallets. The environment where palletizing of finished products takes place has an temperature of 2°C, and in this environment the working environment is as important as a safe production flow.
The project commitment consisted of:
- Robot, ABB IRB 460
- Siemens PLC with HMI
- 2 pcs. tray erectors with glue sealing
- Track system for carton boxes for packing
- Track system for finished carton boxes for robot systems
- Fences, light barriers and emergency stops
- Entresol for trough erectors
- Pallet track system with pallet magazine
- Labeling and scanning of products
